I wish I'd been shot before I picked up this bookview spoilerThis book legit made me SAD and it took a while before I could write down why I figured I had to get it off my chest or else it would just sit there like a heavy lump So the author goes to great length to drive the point that the HEA is only arrived at because the in laws from hell finally reluctantly accept their daughter in law The reason for this grudging acceptance is that she has produced an outstanding grandchild who can already read at the age of 5 as well as showing above average athletic prowess The in laws were stunned because they figured that any child born out of a woman with such low breeding as they consider their daughter in law would have been of eually poor stock So their world view and I am afraid the author's world view is that children are only worthwhile if they are perfect If they have special needs physical or mental disabilities or a learning disorder they are not as worthwhile and it is evidence of poor genes and or poor parenting I was really shocked to see the kind of thinking expressed here that would not be out of place in Hitler's Germany or in the laboratory of some eugenics scientist The author is selling us an HEA whereby the formerly vilified heroine was able to win over her in laws by producing an heir worthy of them because he is above average intelligent and physically strong so they can be proud of him If she hadn't produced such a fine specimen it would have confirmed the in laws' view that not only their daughter in law is worthless but their own grandson is worthless And the heroine is pushing pushing pushing for a relationship between her son and these evil amoral grandparents It honestly made me sick hide spoiler

Marriage for possession or passion Luciano Peretti may still be the The Italian's ePUB #10003 handsome and hot blooded man she fell for six years ago but now Skye wants nothing to. I give this one big kudos because the h makes the H work to get her back I even liked that she was savvy enough to realize that the H's parents who faked photographs of her supposedly cheating to get the H to dump her six years earlier were who they were and that her absolutely charming son would completely win them overThere are a lot of complaints that the h pushes for forgiveness of the H's parents and a big reconciliation However the H was totally willing to walk away so big stars for that and the h who came from a very poor background was wise enough to realize that her son would now inherit a substantial legacy those old Italian type A hardbutts don't live forever and she can bite her tongue long enough for her son to win in the end cause the old geezer can't take it with him

The Italian's Stolen BrideNgle handedly poverty stricken but proud But Luc is determined to take back the bride and the child who were stolen from him and there's one uick and effective way to do it marria. I really enjoyed this story although the story starts out AFTER all of the angsty drama of the Hero believing evil lies and casting the heroine out of his life I wish that angsty goodness had been included in this story it would have made this one perfectionLuc was a total sweetheart after he learned the truth of his family's deception He worked his ass off to regain Skye's trust again after he had shattered her world Skye was terrified of being devastated by Luc again and she made Luc work to get his family backThe story was sweet as the relationship mended Luc's family's deceptions and lies in the beginning were OTT and unforgivable I don't think I could have gone down that forgiveness path the way that Skye did Sitting here after the story is over I still think Luc's asshole of a father got off way too easily in the end That dude seriously needed to pay Maybe not pay THAT much but he seriously need to pay somehow and grovel too There was no grovel from that old asshat and I still hated him after the story had ended All in all though this story sucked me in from the first page and kept me glued until the very ending
