Mann E 2014 Little Man New York Mikaya Press Inc Kirkus Star Review Realistic Fiction This book focuses on Albert a young boy who is insecure about his height He is nervous about typical things such as starting middle school and getting teased by classmates The boy eventually finds his calling when he sees stilt walkers perform The young boys search for belonging is reached as the book conveys emotions that are appropriate for the age group targeted This was a decent book and had a relatable character for young students I was not a huge fan basically because of the age factor My nephew who took my copy seems to enjoy it though I believe this would be a good literature circles book or independent read for students
